Two years ago by chance, we were asked by a hotel to submit a quote for a tender to supply them with bedroom furniture and beds
Previously we had supplied various local hotels with the occasional piece of furniture, but never on this scale. Our tender was submitted and our copy filed away with us thinking that we were there just to make up the numbers. One week later were were asked to present our tender to the board, we attended and presented our tender which we won to our pleasant surprise and so began the contract side of the business.
Our ability to listen to the client, understand their business, constraints and budgets were key issues in us tailoring a bespoke tender and in doing so winning the contract, thus Tidal’s store limited contract furniture was born.
Tidal’s Store contract furniture has flurished thanks to experience Huw Edwards brought with him from the 15 years experience of managing hotels and working with the hospitality/leisure industry before moving back to Wales to take over the family business. His understanding of both industries provides an ideal platform to link them together.
